- Learning the loan process and how it relates to finance.
- Assisting the processors with data entry on a loan software, Make copies, scan, fax. Liaison between the client/loan officer and processor. Will help with the smooth transfer of information to processor. Will audit files for completeness.
- They will learn, hands on how we can systematize the operations, interaction with peers and working in a team environment. They will learn the mortgage industries jargon and how to complete a loan application. They will learn how a mortgage company run day in and out.
- They will be exposed to concepts such as taxation, bankruptcy, real estate, legal, finance, and can let the staff know if they want to learn something else that peaks their interest that we can deliver. They get to observe interactions with clients and customers in the same way a financial or tax advisor would. They will help prepare spreadsheets and charts exploring different customer options and see the effect a good advisor can have on a customer.

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY BUT YOU MUST PASS A QUICK QUIZ AND HAVE GOOD MATH SKILLS. Must ideally be a junior or senior level (exceptions made) with a concentration in Finance. THIS IS A RARE OPPORTUNITY TO GET A WELL ROUNDED INTERNSHIP WHERE WHAT YOU LEARN VARIES DAILY. You will receive a letter of recommendation upon completion and can use us as a reference for 2 years.
REQUIRES: 20 hours minimum a week (flexible schedule) and "California Mortgage Loan Brokering and Lending" textbook (about $10 on ebay).
